Jobscope Continues Customer Focus with Recent Software Release Event
Greenville, SC – September 27, 2016 – Jobscope Corporation, a leading developer of manufacturing ERP software for engineer to order (ETO), make to order (MTO) and other job-based solutions, recently held its 12th annual Customer Advisory Council meeting as part of its ongoing strategy of customer focus. In addition to unveiling version 19 of Jobscope’s ERP software, the company used the event to hear customer perspectives.
“We listen to what our customers tell us about our JOBSCOPE manufacturing ERP software, and their voices guide us every time we make an update,” said Hank Sanders, president of Jobscope. “Our Customer Advisory Council is so important because it gives us a chance to collaborate with customers face to face. We hear what they have to say, and we’re able to offer the updates that are a priority for them.”
JOBSCOPE version 19 includes several important security updates and 50 percent of the new features were inspired by customer requests and involvement. For example, Sanders said, “Users wanted a reports scheduler and enhanced workflows in JOBSCOPE. We worked with our Customer Advisory Council on everything from our product roadmap to our development strategy, and the end result is a powerful new version.”
Other enhanced features include estimating tools such as time tracking, grid entry and mapping, as well as mobile enhancements such as screen changes.
This innovative approach for involving customers in the process continues Jobscope’s longstanding commitment to service and support, and clients appreciate being able to take an active role. “I was impressed with Jobscope’s willingness to interact with their clients in such a cooperative, team-building manner,” said Jeff Campbell of Alpha Research & Technology, Inc., who attended the Customer Advisory Council. “Jobscope is certainly not your average manufacturing software company.”
