Jobscope was established in 1980 to develop Manufacturing Software and ERP Software to meet the requirements of job based manufacturing (Engineer to Order (ETO), Make to Order (MTO), Job Shop, Government Contractors, and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Manufacturers that were not being met by traditional manufacturing software solutions. Jobscope's founders, were hands on manufacturing managers and software developers. They realized that companies manufacturing custom products or providing contract services were not well served by any of the manufacturing software and ERP Software packages at that time.
