Maintenance Repair Overhaul Software

Jobscope Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Software is used by two types of Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facilities. Component repair facilities where components of larger equipment, aircraft, machinery, or vehicles are repaired, rebuilt, modified and overhauled. The other is best be described as whole equipment maintenance and repair where maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul and rebuilding of industrial equipment, vehicles, aircraft, or machinery is performed.

Whole equipment facilities frequently have "back shop" operations which are very much like small component repair facilities. Jobscope maintenance repair and overhaul software equally effictive in both these environments.

Whole equipment facilities perform routine maintenance and modifications using routine work orders which are performed at set intervals and predefined schedules. Non routine work for unplanned repairs and maintenance issues which are discovered when the equipment is in house are performed with non routine work orders. Routine work orders usually detail taking apart the equipment and removing of components in preparation for the actual service or modification work. For modification work, pre-existing routine work order data may also be used. As this work proceeds, non-routine work orders must be created as work requirements are discovered. Jobscope allows non routine work orders to be created "on the fly" as needed. Parts that are needed for non routine work orders can be entered directly on the work order. As these parts are entered, the materials system automatically generates requirements for the parts, either from stock or through the job procurement process.

Jobscope's maintenance repair and overhaul software allows technicians to clock in and out of their shift, record their start and finish times, and issue materials simply by scanning the bar codes on the work orders and on their badges. These scans automatically calculate the time and material transaction, and charge labor and material to the work order and job.

Materials can also be issued from the supply rooms, and automatically charged to the work order where they are used. Materials that are purchased for a specific piece of equipment and work order are automatically charged to that work order on receipt, or held in job inventory.
