JOBSCOPE® Aviation Maintenance Software (Aviation MRO Software) is typically used by two types of Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facilities in the aviation industry. One type of aircraft maintenance facility is best described as Aviation MRO component repair, where engines, landing gear, APUs, nose cones, and other components are repaired. The other type of aircraft maintenance facility is best be described as whole aircraft Aviation MRO, doing such things as “C” checks or aircraft modifications. Jobscope’s Aviation MRO software addresses both whole aircraft and aviation component repair.

Aviation Maintenance Software – JOBSCOPE ERP
Whole aircraft maintenance facilities frequently have “back shop” operations which are very much like small component repair facilities. Using Jobscope aircraft maintenance software in Aviation MRO component repair facilities is described on the Aviation Component Repair page.
Whole aircraft maintenance Aviation MRO facilities using JOBSCOPE® aircraft maintenance software typically perform checks or modifications with routine work orders which are performed at set intervals and predefined schedules, and non-routine work orders covering unplanned repairs issues which are discovered when the aircraft is in house. Routine work orders usually detail the pulling of panels and removing of components in preparation for the actual check or modification work. For modification work, pre-existing routine work order data may also be used.
As this work proceeds, non-routine work orders must be created as work requirements are discovered. JOBSCOPE aviation maintenance software (Aviation MRO Software) allows non routine work orders to be created “on the fly” as needed. Parts that are needed for non-routine work orders can be entered directly on the work order. As these parts are entered, the materials system automatically generates requirements for the parts, either from stock or through the job procurement process.
Jobscope’s aircraft maintenance software allows technicians to clock in and out of their shift, record their start and finish times, and issue materials simply by scanning the bar codes on the work orders and on their badges. These scans automatically calculate the time and material transaction, and charge labor and material to the work order and job.
Materials can also be issued from the supply rooms, and automatically charged to the work order where they are used. Materials that are purchased for a specific aircraft and work order are automatically charged to that work order on receipt, or held in job inventory. Aviation MRO Software also accommodates rotable and non rotable parts.
