Senior ASP .NET Developer

Location: Greenville, SC

Compensation: Base Salary plus Bonus

Description: Immediate need for a mid to senior level ASP.NET Developer for a growing ERP software company. This fast paced and challenging environment will require a strong knowledge of multi tier development, C#, AJAX, ASP.NET, jQuery, CSS, and T-SQL. Candidates should also have experience with windows application development, Visual Studio 2008, and database design. This position requires the candidate to be able to design, test, and deploy solutions quickly and reliably.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot applications with Visual Studio 2008.
• Maintain and improve existing applications.
• Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
• Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Assist personnel of other departments as a developer resource.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of four to seven years of web application development in C# and ASP.NET.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for implementing database driven, web-based applications.
• Strong Object-oriented programming skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Self-motivated and creative.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Knowledge of mobile web application development is a plus.
